Anterior Segment OCTA of Melanocytic Lesions of the Conjunctiva and Iris

PurposeTo study the feasibility and diagnostic value of vascular imaging using optical coherence tomography (OCT)-angiography (OCTA) melanocytic lesions conjunctiva iris.DesignCross-sectional study.MethodsTwenty-five patients with an untreated conjunctival lesion (5 melanoma, 13 nevus, 7 primary acquired melanosis [PAM]) 52 iris (10 42 nevus) were included. Failure was caused by lack patient cooperation, unfavorable location, or mydriasis. In all 77% lesions, structures detected. Conjunctival melanoma nevi demonstrated same intralesional tortuous patterns, whereas vasculature eyes PAM similar to normal conjunctiva.
